Feel It In The Air!
Air movement in your room or tent can make or break a crop. Stale, stagnant environments make stale and stagnant plants...and what do stale and stagnant plants make? You guessed it! Stale and stagnant crops!!!
It's such a simple issue to resolve too! Just add a fan! Assuming you've got good intake and exhaust already set up in your grow space. You don't need an all singing all dancing blows the cobwebs out the rafters sort of fan, just a fan to push the clean air from your intake around your plants. There's plenty of fans out there to choose from and will vary depending on the size of your tent or room, but by far the best solution we've found are these amazing little monkey fans from grow tent pioneers Secret Jardin.
They clip onto standard sized tent poles (16-20mm Diameter) with their "tail", making placement in your tent easy and versatile as they'll connect to any of the tent pole structure. The tail is fully adjustable to angle the propellor just the way you want it and direct the airflow to the bits that need it. Not only can they clip anywhere along the poles to manage fan position easier but because they attach to the actual tent you'll find them much less of a nuisance than any other fan and it'll maximise the space inside your tent for your precious plants.
These come in three different sizes 6", 8" and 9" with three different power outputs, 16w, 20w and 30w to accommodate different sizes of tent.
The 8"/20w fan also has an oscillating function, creating a multi-directional flow of fresh air that gets right in between your plants leaves.
Whichever size you choose, these blustery machines run super-quiet without any compromise to the power, because who wants to add more noise to their grow space?
